Abstract: Life began in primordial seas around 3.6 billion years ago and arthropods evolved during the Cambrian. In the early period and still today, they comprise the most diverse group of animals and also constitute the most species amongst animal groups. Marine monographs are very few when compare to herbal monographs. By considering this situation an attempt has been made to explore knowledge on marine pharmacognosy. This review includes marine sources, their morphological characters, catching techniques, extraction process, isolation techniques and their recent development in drug research.

Abstract: The E-commerce market in India reached a value of INR 81,525 crores (US $13.5 billion) in 2014; according to the latest report by IAMAI and IMRB International. . The online retail spending in India grew by 67% in 2013, and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of more than 50% between 2013 and 2017. The adoption of devices such as smart phones and tablets, easy availability of internet, advancement in technology has earned India a place among top 20 countries on the global forum & led to the rapid growth of E-commerce and online shopping . India has developed a huge online consumer base as depicted by the major players like Flipkart and Snapdeal. With this growth, it is expected that tons of jobs will be booming in the market in the years to come. New job opportunities are evolving every year. According to Technopak, KPMG, IAMAI study, this rapid growth in E-commerce will create employment opportunities for about 1.4 million job-seekers. The critical requirements of the e-commerce industry today are category managers, digital marketers, web designers, and people with expertise in web analytics, copywriting and content creation. The Apparel E-tailing sector lacks personnel with technical knowledge about Apparel Products since most of the personnel hired in E-commerce companies today are from IT sectors. There is a need for the new upcoming Job titles to have Apparel knowledge besides their basic knowledge.

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to concentrates the observation and construction of low cost, low power microcontroller based SCADA system for monitoring & accessing the performance o sugar industries by acquiring and controlling the physical parameters such as Temperature, Humidity, Pressure, Weighting and Motor driven to get better end product. We know that Microcontrollers are rapidly replacing conventional PLCs in many industrial applications such as SCADA system for SSI and MSI units such as sugar industries due to easy availability, simplicity, cheaper design and easy trouble-shooting .It is revealed from the comparative study that many more representative members of a micro controlling devices from various manufacturers with variety of useful options so as to improve further the performance of the SCADA (Signal Conditioning and Data Acquisition) system so that you can turn it into Advanced SCADA with a drastic cost cutting for design and maintenance. In the present paper, Authors have tried to brief the outcome of the comparative study of such micro controlling members so that future – cost – cautious - designers of industrial SCADA systems can readily use them in their designs. Author focused on technology which has minimum cost with more speed of operation without damaging quality products and system performance. Author finally concluded that the use of recent microcontroller in SCADA system in sugar industry can increase the quality and performance of the plant so that the cost is low and power used for it is also minimized.

Abstract: The objective of this project is to design high performance arithmetic circuits which are faster and have low power consumption using a new adiabatic logic family of CMOS and to analyze its performance for sequential circuits and effects upon cascading. Reversible logic generally used in low power VLSI. This adiabatic logic family is best for arithmetic circuits because the critical path is made of a long chain of cascaded reversing gates. The more advantage of this logic which is speed is high and low power consumption is observed upon cascading which is more precise, it’s more suitable for arithmetic circuits. The proposed multiplier is better and provides better result in terms of the number of gates, garbage outputs and constant inputs hardware complexity, and number of transistors required as comparison with the existing circuit. The data is related to the primitive reversible gates which are available in literature and helps researches in designing higher complex computing circuits using reversible gates are represented by this paper.

Abstract: Navigation in time-evolving environments with moving targets and obstacles requires cognitive abilities widely demonstrated by even simplest animals. Nevertheless, it is a long-standing challenging problem for artificial agents. Research on navigation has been particularly notable for the increased understanding of the factors affecting human navigation and the neural networks supporting it. The use of virtual reality environments has made it possible to explore the effect of environment layout and content on way-finding performance.

Abstract: In this paper we proposed reduction of noise at the receiver end using multiplicative neural network techniques. We compared the improved result of bit error rate in terms of mean square error convergence curve at different stage of peak signal to noise ratios. Multiplicative neural network is very effective approach with low complexity. The outcome is analyzed by variation in M-array quadrature amplitude modulation technique.

Abstract: Lung cancer is considered to be as the main cause of cancer death worldwide, and it is difficult to detect in its early stages because symptoms appear only at advanced stages causing the mortality rate to be the highest among all other types of cancer. It is a challenging problem to detect the lung cancer in its early stage, due to the structure of the cancer cells. This paper presents three segmentation methods Fuzzy C-Mean (FCM), Expectation Maximization (EM), Region Gradient Growing (RGG) for segmenting the sputum images in its early stages. This segmentation result will be used as a base for a Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system for early diagnosis of lung cancer which will improve the chances of survival of the patient. The segmented image is classified using Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm.

Abstract: In present scenario of power quality induction generators were well used with wind turbines because of their low cost, maintenance and operational performance, but due to less efficient or harmonic detection additional or compensatory element must be required with this. In this paper various ranges of static capacitors are employed to improve power quality of system and attempt is made to analysis the effect of reactive source of system here MATLAB/SIMULINK is used for performance analysis and highlighted system output results.

Abstract: MANET stands for mobile ad-hoc network. It is a continuously self-configuring, infrastructure less network of mobile devices which are connected to each other without the use of wires. In MANET as devices are free to move independently in any direction, hence its links to other devices may be change frequently. A node can change its position very frequently and hence a routing protocol is required that quickly adapts to topology changes. AODV is one promising and popular routing protocol in MANET. But traditional AODV not deal with the problem of unreliability of nodes. In this paper a new Local Route discovery (LRD) approach with traditional AODV has been proposed. A node will start to drop the packet if it is unable to forward it properly, if a node drop a the packet most of the time instead of forwarding them then these node is not a reliable node and may be the cause of large delay, high packet lost and waste of resource utilization. To avoid such situation proposed AODV_LRD mechanism checks the reliability of each node on the basis of packet delivery ratio. If any node of detected path becomes unreliable then it applies a local route discovery process, to find other reliable node on the network to obtain reliable path. In this proposed mechanism a node not need to inform the sender for establishing the path but it renovate the new route in network from the same end where the node becomes unreliable, it means proposed AODV_LRD mechanism providing the route establishment capability to each node in network. Transmission through reliable path on the network increases the efficiency of the whole network. It is also helpful in reducing the congestion problem occur inside the network.

Abstract: Fingerprint verification is an important biometric technique for personal identification based on physiological and behavioral characteristics of persons ( called biometrics), for example iris, palm, thumb impressions fingerprints, provide inherent solutions to many of these problems. Merely incorporating biometrics into a system does not constitute a proof of identity. We need to understand how the algorithm deployed ascertains the security of the biometrics available .In cryptosystems, user authentication is based on possession of secret keys, which falls apart if the keys are not kept securely. In this paper, we present a method that uniquely generates a cryptographic key for a user to secure and store it in the database in such a way that the key cannot be revealed during biometric authentication for stealth or forgery. This approach would assist in reducing complicated traditional cryptographic systems to derive cryptographic key Furthermore, GUI based analysis is incorporated for analysis of various open source database fingerprints available based on FP enhancement and minutiae point extraction.
