Abstract: This paper address about activity relationship chart which is based on closeness of the departments on shop floor. Activity relationship chart plays an important role while designing a facility layout for any kind of industry, whether it is manufacturing, chemical or related to any field. Relationship among departments is the base for any industry to run the smooth production Activity relationship chart is designed by identifying the relationships between departments. For designing this chart, first need to define closeness rating among each pair of departments, after then some codes are given to the reasons behind the closeness rating, and then on the basis of these codes and rating the activity relationship chart is generated.

Abstract: Nowadays, wired optical communication is growing fast. Over long distance, the losses in conventional pulses goes on increasing. Thus for long distance communication, the need of pulses with minimum loss is required. The new type of transmission pulse for optical fibers called optical soliton is discussed in this paper. In this paper, the generation and advantages of soliton over conventional pulse is described.

Abstract: All helmets attempt to protect the user’s head by absorbing mechanical energy and protecting against penetration. Their structure and protective capacity are altered in high-energy impacts. Beside their energy-absorption capability, their volume and weight are also important issues, since higher volume and weight increase the injury risk for the user’s head and neck. Every year many cricketers are killed or seriously injured in the cricket play as a result of head injuries. Wearing an appropriate safety helmet significantly reduces the risk of injury or even death. Protective head wear could save your life. At present the strength of the helmet using cricket player is less due to improper filling of material, uneven pressure distribution and blow holes. The aim of the project is to increase the strength of the cricket helmet by making the modify material in existing one. In order to achieve the objective of the project, the work is carried out in three stages. In the first stage a parametric model is designed by using 3D modeling module in Solidworks Software. After designing the helmet mould flow analysis is carried out on the helmet by using plastic advisor which is a module in Solidworks. Mould flow analysis is used for finding material filling, pressure distribution, air traps, and weld lines during the injection moulding process at constant pressure and different temperature ranges. In the last stage, after completion of the mould flow analysis, impact analysis is done on cricket helmet by using ANSYS software for three different types of materials by throwing the ball with three different velocities.

Abstract: In this comparative study we have presented the performance of dual-hop multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) amplify-and-forward (AF) relay systems by considering the source-to-relay and relay-to-destination channels undergo Rayleigh and Rician fading, respectively. Several MIMO techniques and practical relaying scenarios have been studied the effect of such asymmetric fading on the MIMO AF relaying systems. The performance of the optimal single stream beam forming on non-coherent AF MIMO relaying. We study the tools of finite-dimensional random matrix theory to statistically characterize the instantaneous signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The closed-form expressions of the cumulative distribution function, probability density function, and moments of SNR are derived and used to analyze the performance of the system with outage probability, bit error rate (BER), and ergodic capacity. We have analyzed the effect of co-channel interference (CCI) and feedback delay on the multi-antenna AF relaying over asymmetric fading channels. Here, transmit beam forming vector has been studied using outdated channel state information due to the feedback delay from relay-to-source, and the relay node experience CCI due to frequency reuse in the cellular network.

Abstract: Steganography is derived from the Greek word steganographic which means covered writing. It is the science of secret communication. The objective of steganography is to hide the existence of the message from unauthorized party. The modern secure image steganography presents a task of transferring the embedded information to the destination without being detected by the attacker. Many different carrier formats can be used, but digital images are the most popular because of their frequency on the Internet. For hiding secret information in images, there exist a large variety of steganographic techniques some are more complex than others and all of them have respective strong and weak points. In the current world we cannot imagine our lives without computers. However with the use of computers a question of secure data transfer appears rather soon. Information coding and cryptography is essential, but efficient privacy has been given by encryption and information hiding methods that can be misused for covering criminal activities. Therefore is important to develop tools and methods for forensic analysis. Steganography and cryptography are normally connected together.

Abstract: In this research paper we have studied and analyzed the Physical Layer of WiMAX as our base work. The main issue of this work is to study implement the efficient WiMAX technology. An application of dynamic programming is widely used for estimation and detection problems in digital communications and signal processing. It is used to detect signals in communication channels with memory, and to decode sequential error-control codes that are used to enhance the performance of digital communication systems. The viterbi algorithm is also used in speech and character recognition tasks where the speech signals or characters are modeled by hidden Markov models. The basics of the viterbi algorithm as applied to systems in digital communication systems, and speech and character recognition. It also focuses on the operations and the practical memory requirements to implement the viterbi algorithm in real-time. A forward error correction technique known as convolutional coding with viterbi decoding was explored. In this project, the basic viterbi decoder behavior model has been analyzed theoretically. The convolutional encoder, BPSK and AWGN channel may be implemented in Matlab. The theory of viterbi algorithm is introduced based on convolutional coding. The application of viterbi algorithm in the continuous-phase frequency shift keying (CPFSK) is presented. Analysis for the performance is made and compared with the conventional coherent estimator.

Abstract: Wireless Sensor Networkstranquil from a large number of sensor nodeswith the ability to sense and process data in the physical world in a timely manner.The sensor nodes contain a battery constraint which limit the network lifetime. Dueto energy constraints, the deployment of WSNs will required advance techniques tomaintain the network lifetime. A clustering based routing algorithm called Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) has been reviewed as a solution for lowpower consumption. The implementation of LEACH algorithm could be doneMATLAB simulator to analyze theperformance of this algorithm in term of network lifetime. LEACH algorithmshows some drawbacks that need improvements to overcome it as to improve theperformance. Then, the modified LEACH algorithm would be proposed where theimprovement for cluster head selection based on LEACH. In cluster headselection, adapted LEACH taking into account the residual energy of each node forcalculation of the threshold value for next round. LEACH perform better performance achieved by modified LEACH depends on theresults obtained.

Abstract: As it is widely known that PLC, programmable logic controller is back bone of industries. Industries are now a day’s becoming automated with help of PLC as well as other industrial tools .The whole plant process can be controlled by PLC itself along with the removal of errors without human integration. Distance being an important factor with medium of communication along. In this paper we led emphasis over the wireless communication between the PLC and PC .The basic theme of this paper is to build the wireless communication of the PLC and PC in order to control and monitor the whole process. The wireless communication is made possible with help of set of MODBUS module. Here PLC section is placed at a point location quite away from the pc monitor section. The transmission and receiving of data is done continuously from both side. The MODBUS module is the industrial standardized tool for this purpose .On the contrary we are simulating this whole process with SCADA so that the whole point to point information is being monitored as well as recorded at the same time. The advantage of using this technology is we are avoiding the bulk cost of long cable used in installation of industries as well as making system reliable .The main component of this project is PLC, PC, MODBUS module, A RS-232 TO RS-485 converter SCADA software KEPS SERVER.

Abstract: Image Steganography is the image processing branch to hide secret information behind the image with different techniques so that no one unauthorized can predict about the hidden information. The techniques must be that much efficient which do not reveal in the presence of any information in the image. In this paper a methodology is proposed to hide information securely as well as the stages are multiple which enhances the security of technique. For basic steganography technique LSB method is adopted and to enhance the security the secret information which is in the form of three images are converted into text, i.e. first stage of security than the text is encoded than hide behind the cover image in different layers. Here technique utilizes all the three layers to hide three different images.

Abstract: This review paper based on the Performance analysis of OAM-OFDM system in AWGN Channel. In Digital communication system with multi carrier modulation technique can play very important role in all phase of designing and engineering. In this paper we discuss about the performance analysis of 16QAM- OFDM system. We compare the performance analysis of different technique used in the 16 QAM OFDM and discuss the BER vs SNR Ratio.

Abstract: The denoising of images is novel techniques used in the various multimedia devices which offers post correction in captured images. For example Digital Cameras, Scanners, Mobiles etc. The main reason to research on such techniques is outdoor conditions are not in our control e.g. temperature, weather, moisture and air, which are the major causes of noises in the images captured. These different noises are collectively formulated as Additive White Gaussian Noises(AWGN). In this paper such scenarios are considered and developed a denoising technique which significantly improve the performance. The proposed methodology considered Total Variation Model followed by Coiflet Filter Decomposition with Hard thresholding.
