Abstract: In recent years, the area of manufacturing has become more intensive and competitive. Now-a-days all the service domains are articulating to find ways to improve their flexibility, responsiveness and competitiveness by changing their manufacturing strategies, technologies and methods that also include the implementation of manufacturing paradigms. The main aim of cellular manufacturing (CM) is to adopt effective and efficient strategies/methods to fulfill the demands of consumers, organization and society towards best satisfaction of each. Present study highlights a logical procedure to select the effective cellular manufacturing process in terms of various aspects as proper utilization of space, satisfaction of customer, less monetary implications, flexibility, wide spectrum of products, labor constraints, less material handling, and work –in- process by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The analytical hierarchy process is used in cellular manufacturing as a potential decision making tool. The primary requirement of AHP is to make a matrix of the variables for their paired comparison . There are lot of AHP processes, but here only the two of them i.e. Additive Normalization method (AN) and Geometric Mean method (GM) are being used by analyzing the cellular manufacturing with respect to micro and macro variables. The AHP procedure can be implemented manually or can be automated. The results derived while solving the manufacturing problem highly corroborates with those as obtained by past researchers.

Abstract: Transformers are relatively efficient devices but the total annual energy spent in losses occurring during its use is very significant. A large fraction of these losses result from the excitation of electrical steels used for cores. In pursuit to improve these core losses, core materials with improved electrical and mechanical properties are constantly being developed. This paper tries to evaluate the performance of the various grades of cold rolled grain oriented electrical steel as core material in transformer with respect to its total cost of owing over a span of 25 years. The calculated total owing cost consists of the sum of the initial cost of the transformer and the discounted present value of the future load and no-load losses.

Abstract: In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) energy is most important resource. Maximum utilization of energy of every node is a critical factor. In the routing main purpose is to optimize the network architecture for various applications and maximize the utilization of all resources. The framework and architecture of every wireless sensor networks are different. In this paper, we show the difference between traditional, internet and conventional routing. We also show the Review on routing model, deployment topology, Homogeneous and Heterogeneous network and its routing protocols with various design factors.

Abstract: NEURAL networks have a wide range of applications in analog and digital signal processing. Once the network has been trained and the synaptic weight values stored in the SRAM, the VLSI device can be used in stand-alone mode to carry out neural computation in real-time. In existing system they implemented the neural network with programmable synaptic memory. Synaptic weight refers to the strength of a connection between two nodes. The design of neural network architecture is based on CMOS technology and the design performed in its architecture level. Commonly CMOS technology provides less noise during design. The proposed neural network consists of Synaptic weight and spiking network. In the existing system, they concentrated only in spike frequency and spike voltage. The proposed system focuses on reducing the complexity and increasing the efficiency and the network using CMOS technology with quad bilateral technique used in integrated circuit designed to reduce power consumption, by shutting off the current to block the circuits that are not in use and also multiple threshold voltages applied to the circuit which helps to reduce the delay/power. In addition to reducing stand-by or leakage power this approach eliminates critical path delay. The proposed design concentrates on reducing complexity; hence the power consumption will be reduced and also efficiency will be increased due to less complexity. The proposed system can be used in image processing & control system applications.

Abstract: Network security deals with large number of devices to provide them secure access. It provides security for both public which can be access by all users and private networks which can only be access by legitimate users. OTP generates a new random password every time so even if the user did not recollect the old password its fine. Multifactor Authentication techniques can be used to provide secure web transactions using cell phones. Various methods have been proposed to provide multifactor authentication, such as biometrics etc.

Abstract: Existing plagiarism detectors have a huge limitation and one that isn’t likely to go away any time soon. In fact, what they actually detect is sections of identical text only. So in our proposed system we intend to design an efficient, accurate as well as intelligent plagiarism detection software which will overcome and improve on the drawbacks of the existing plagiarism detection software. Here our main focus is on accuracy and efficiency of the detecting software. Here we are using hybrid algorithms like K-Means Clustering algorithm, TF-IDF, and combination of similarity measuring formulas like Cosine, Jaccard, Dice etc. In this paper, we will be comparing the input document on various parameters like its Grammar, Keywords, Sentences with the documents in the existing database. Based on the results obtained we will be display whether the input document is plagiarised or not.

Abstract: In this paper a microstrip antenna loading with double U-slot loaded rectangle patch antenna and T- Stair slot loaded rectangular patch antenna is designed. Here, the shape of patch is rectangular and partial ground plane is used. The antenna designing is done by using HFSS simulation tool. Feeding is done by using microstrip feed line. After designing antenna we see the effect of variation in the dielectric material of substrate, width and length of U-shaped slot and T- Stair shaped slot, feed position and ground plane variation on antenna bandwidth is analyzed. Finally, the proposed antenna design gives optimum impedance bandwidth of 10 GHz operating over a frequency range of 4.1 to 14.1 GHz with VSWR < 2.These characteristics make the designed antenna suitable for various ultra wideband applications.

Abstract: As we can see after the population explosion, the population of cities has been growing at an enormous rate, population explosion coupled with technological and economic growth has resulted in more luxurious living .More and more people can afford to have cars now-a-days .This means that there is requirement of wide highways, more places to park and also a better management fo traffic etc. Here we are not concerned with all of the issues, but technology can help us atleast in few of such problems. Parking management system is one of such problem’s solution. We can see during weekends, end of season sales, festivals or any other occasion there is usually a lot of people visiting malls, which usually creates lots of rush and confusion which affects consumer experience. The current manual system is also quite expensive and difficult to maintain. The existing parking system has flaws which needs to be improved. We can use technology to solve the parking issues faced by malls or any other similar systems. This is where Smart parking comes into the picture. Smart parking is user-friendly, easy to use software which makes the process of parking easy to handle. It replaces the current manual system by an efficient automated system which saves lot of man power and money.

Abstract: Keeping electronics devices cool is critical to ensure their long life and reliability. Utilizing heat sinks can help achieve this but determining the proper type and configuration can be a challenge. This paper reviews pin fin heat sinks of different cross-sections, low density pin configurations, and more factors in determining what is needed for an application. Electronic systems have become substantially more sophisticated and powerful in recent years. As a result, the majority of these systems contain large arrays of power hungry electronic components that require high-performance heat sinks to prevent them from overheating and being damaged or destroyed. One of the best-performing heat sink technologies available today is the pin fin technology. Pin fin heat sinks efficiently cool components; can be adapted to a range of component sizes, power levels, and air speeds; and are fabricated in a highly consistent manufacturing process. Because of these qualities, pin fin heat sinks are especially suitable for a wide array of medical applications. Moreover, a recent innovation in the technology provides even higher levels of cooling performance in a smaller space.

Abstract: This paper presents a literature survey on application of TCSC in power flow analysis. A case study is carried out on the role of Thyristor Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC) in the improvement of power transfer in transmission network. The paper underlines the research done on power flow analysis incorporating TCSC. The paper discusses the about the power flow analysis using Thyristor Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC) which can be characterized in different models. Literature review is presented on basis of the various aspects of power flow analysis using FACTS devices Thyristor Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC).
